Spiderman sheets. Kekoa has been wanting Spiderman sheets since he first spotted them in the Pottery Barn Kids catalog, many, many, months ago. I was showing him these cute sheets with surfboards and woodie cars, but as I flipped through the pages of the catalog, he spotted the Spiderman sheets and there was no going back. We were at Pottery Barn Kids last week and he was super excited to see the Spiderman sheets in person. Again, I tried convincing him of other cute sheets there, but he was all about Spiderman.
So, Kekoa won...he got his sheets but had to stay in his bed before we would put them on. We were using it as an incentive, thinking that this would really work. What did he really want, instead of the sheets? He wanted mommy to stay with him, didn't care so much about the sheets. While, yes, that makes me feel good that he loves me so much, I REALLY want Kekoa to stay on his bed while going to sleep. Finally, finally, last night he did, from sheer exhaustion (he didn't nap). Yay, this morning, first thing, we changed his sheets. He is still half asleep in these pictures, literally just out of bed. I'm not sure who is more excited about the sheets, us or him!
Kekoa is in Spiderman heaven! :)
