I am in complete shock right now. Kekoa didn't want to nurse before his nap today! It is a first. Scott has been putting him down for naps for about a week now. The first time Scott did this, there were A LOT of tears and screaming for mama, for about 15 minutes. The second day, a lot of tears and screaming for about 10 minutes. The third day, a lot of tears and screaming for about 5 minutes. Now? No tears or screaming.
The routine is I nurse him and then Scott takes him, reads a story, and puts him down to sleep. Well today, Kekoa brought me a book to read to him, I tried nursing him a couple of times after we read the story. He would get up off my lap and point to the bedroom, he wanted me to nurse him in there. When he figured out that wasn't going to happen, he got up off my lap, went to Scott, and they went in the room together. He even waved bye-bye to me, no tears! Yay Kekoa!

Merry Christmas
The rain was relentless, coming down so hard, but the family all made it our place safely Christmas day to celebrate! I made lasagna from scratch (my first time), my dad and Jenny brought yummy ham, my mom made a really delicious salad, and there were a lot of desserts to choose from too...3 pies, oh my! Scott made chocolate haupia pie, oh my it was soooo good. My dad actually requested it, he was super bummed Scott didn't make it for Thanksgiving dinner!
After scarfing down food, we opened presents. Kaiwei and Kekoa are just sooo cute. They love each other more and more each time they see each other. They totally play with each other now. We were all eating and wondering where they were...they were in Kekoa's room, playing with his Little People Farm and the castle too. Scott and I were laughing watching them goof around together. Kekoa is like Kaiwei's little shadow, wants to copy whatever he is doing. It is so sweet to see them sharing their toys and being so loving to each other.
It was a great Christmas....really relaxing and mellow. I loved having everyone over and seeing the boys so happy and excited. Next year will be that much more fun when Jiawei joins the little boy pack! :)
Yay! The gang is here. Let the festivities begin.

Cheers!
Let me show you my new recycling truck Kaiwei!
My dad telling me and my little brother a story of the 3 little pigs.
Yay, Popo is here too! Let's open up the door for her!

Look at my farm Kaiwei!

Getting some Gorilla love!
Hmmm, this box looks familiar! Kekoa remembering getting Sophie the giraffe last year for Christmas!

I was so thankful my mom. She fed Kekoa while I finished up the garlic bread. By the time he was done eating, it was time for the "grown ups" to eat...perfect!
Kaiwei didn't enjoy any of the Christmas dinner, but did really love eating a biscuit with peanut butter! :)

The "boys" aka, my dad, Mingwei and Scott played Risk while dinner was being prepared.
Dinner is served...
Yum, this food is pretty good...see?

Jenny's mom has her first taste of lasagna! She liked it! :)

Kaiwei opening a present to find an...
alligator!!
Kaiwei got this big truck for one of his presents. It was really cute because he played with the back end of the truck and shared the front part with Kekoa!

Talking to family in Texas via Skype!

Santa's little helper in the middle of the two big boys in their matching tops!

Mingwei going for a jog after dinner.
Mom going for a jog too...
The night ended perfectly...with these two cuties in the bath!

What would Christmas be without dancing??
