Today was...

GREAT! I will call December 11, 2010 "no tantrum day". Kekoa decided today he was going to be the best behaved monkey in town! There was no kicking, no whining, only smiles, cooperating, and following directions. Let me just say "aaaah"! :)

After Kekoa's nap, we easily changed a diaper and an outfit, no kicking or anything. Kekoa even laid on the ground as I ran into the other room to grab a diaper! At the park, Kekoa was totally following directions, even put all the trucks back into the sandbox that he had taken out and willingly got into the stroller, no tears or body thrusting! At home, dinner time was so pleasant, not a toy or book or food was thrown off the highchair. We listened to Christmas tunes and whenever Kekoa heard "snowman" he would point to snowman city and smile.
Bath time and getting into bed was just as easy. He was so cute in the tub tonight...he learned how to scoot himself along. He thought this was the coolest thing ever and practiced a lot! After his bath, he saw the little mole I have on my neck. He has been fascinated with this mole his whole life. I don't know how to say mole in Chinese, so I was trying to teach him to say "mole". He tried so hard to pronounce it, even stuck his tongue out to make the "le" sound. He settled for "mo" and kept repeating it over and over, while pointing to my neck. It was adorable.
Thank you Kekoa for a fabulous day!

Looking longingly at the doggies. We wish we could have one too Kekoa!

Look at the Christmas lights! Kekoa kept pointing across the field at the lights, he was so excited!
So excited that he decided it would be a good idea to walk across the super wet, super muddy field! :) His shoes were soaked through!

Check out the swings...
Let me at 'em! We spent a long time in the swings today. Kekoa couldn't stop laughing, it was so cute, nothing like the sound of his laugh to melt my heart!
