Our little girl was cracking us all up today.  She couldn't get enough of her Ge Ge's race car driver helmet, even though it was so frustrating for her.  She looked adorable though.

All right, I'll give the knight helmet a try.

I love it when kids first start walking.  It is the cutest thing and I just can't get enough.

Malia is always telling us her toes hurt.  If she gets anything stuck to them, she stops and shows us.

Malia loves hats

This little girlie really loves to wear hats, especially when they are her brothers.  It is adorable.  She comes up and gives you the hat to help her put it on.

Our nunie boonie girl just didn't care that her nakie tush was in the rocks.  She was having a blast until I told her not to put rocks in her mouth..then she threw a tantrum.  I was able to capture it...

I am so happy I was able to get Malia's first walk on video, not the first steps, but actual walking!

She was playing in the police car and then just took off walking!

Walking girlie

It's official, our baby girl is a walker.  I noticed she was walking around in the yard this afternoon and walking longer distances in the house too.  When Scott got home from work, she walked all the way to him and then there was no turning back.  After her dinner, she was walking everywhere.  No more crawling for her, even when she fell down she stood right back up and started walking again.  Those first druken sailor steps are the cutest....especially with Malia's blankies in her mouth!!

I still remember Kekoa's first steps, so clearly.  It really does seem like it was yesterday.

summer time = Sunday pool time

I love, love, love summer and all of its possibilities.  It is such a carefree and fun season, I just love it.  Tonight after dinner, Scott and the kids went for a little dip in the kiddie pool.  The water was SUPER warm (thanks Baba for dumping in all the hot water) and the kids had so much fun.  I have two of the cutest kiddos ever.  It is such a joy to watch them, two little nakie babies in the pool.

Malia had the best time just going into the pool and out of the pool.  It kept her busy for awhile.  Scott and I enjoyed watching her climbing into the pool...what is it about a nakie tush that makes it extra cute?

Everything feels so much more normal now that Scott has a regular schedule with every weekend off.  It makes this summer that much better.

Once Malia figured out how to go in and out of the pool, that is all she wanted to do.  In and out, in and out, in and out...that game never gets old right? :)
