Scott and I had a real date night last night. By "real", I mean we had a babysitter come and put the kids to bed. It was their first time having anyone else put them to sleep besides family. How did they do? They both did GREAT! In fact, Kekoa did so well that he slept through the whole night!
Anyways, enough about the kids and back to our date night. We headed to the Mountain Winery for a reggae concert, Steele Pulse and Ziggy Marley. I can't tell you how nice it was to be out together, no kids, and around all kinds of people having a great time. We ended up sitting next to this really nice older couple that were visiting from Idaho. They lent me their blanket, which saved my life. No, seriously, it got so cold and I was not properly dressed.
It is so funny because when we had Kekoa, we never felt the need to have a date night. We were in such baby bliss for so long. Now that we have done it, date night's will definitely be in our future more often. :)
