| The Easter bunny did visit our house. Kekoa left him/her carrots, which of course were gobbled up and gone by this morning. In Kekoa's basket, there was crayons, a little pink chick stuffed animal, a toob of penguins and a chick sippy cup. Malia had a yellow chick stuffed animal and the same sippy cup. Scott and I figured that Kekoa would want whatever was in Malia's basket and she would end up with the pink chick, but Kekoa actually didn't want to trade with her today...surprise, surprise. |
Kekoa and Malia had two Easter egg hunts today.
The first one here, in our front yard. Kekoa was loving it, finding all the eggs that had stuff in them. He didn't even want to pick up the eggs we had dyed the other day!
Malia was loving it too. I was so surprised at how much fun she was having, throwing the eggs in her basket. Thank you Baba, I mean Easter bunny for hiding all the eggs for us!
Back inside to see what is in our eggs...
The second egg hunt was at our friend's house. Kekoa had a blast running around with all the kids. There were 178 eggs to find, or something crazy like that. Each child's egg limit was 25. Kekoa was so cute, he wasn't in a huge hurry to find the eggs. I thought he would be out there, super competitive about it, but I guess since he was one of the youngest ones, he stayed back and took his time. It was cute because the older girls were helping him, after they reached their 25 egg limit, of course! Malia had fun at this egg hunt as well, a great time watching all the big girls go crazy, looking for eggs. We did miss having Baba at this egg hunt. He was at work. :(
Natalie is so sweet with Malia, wants to play with her so bad. Of course Malia loves her.
