morning walks

Kekoa is already prepared for Halloween.  He picked out the bat headband yesterday at Affordable Treasures.  Malia has a matching pair, I have ones that have spiders and Kekoa picked out skeleton ones for Scott!

Morning time is just me and the kiddos.  Usually on Saturday mornings though, I escape and go for a walk by myself in the hills.  Today, Baba worked so it was the kiddos and I on our morning walk together.  I don't attempt any steep hills with the double BOB...this sucker is heavy!  We stroll through the neighborhoods and lately we've been going to check out the ponds.  There is a place where the street ends and we can see the misty morning fog blowing across the ponds.  Kekoa is fascinated as to why the road ends the way it does.  We are usually on our walk before 7:30a.m...so crazy to think, but when these guys are early risers these days.  Malia was up at 5:00 a.m. this morning, yuck!

Sometimes we have time to stop at the park and play before heading home for Malia's nap.  Most mornings, Kekoa is still in his jammies too, it is the fastest way to get out of the house.  This morning, he was being cooperative and was able to get ready quickly.  It is tough to get up so early, but at least I am able to squeeze in a little bit of exercise.
