Christmas Eve

After Kekoa's nap, we headed over to Papa Beezy's to celebrate Christmas Eve with Meilani and Jordan. The plan was have pizza and beer, have it be real casual so nobody had to cook anything. My dad must have missed the part about "ordering" pizza and decided to cook some frozen pizzas. Well, my dad is not pro at cooking pizza, in fact it may have been the first time he has ever cooked a frozen pizza...so the pizza didn't turn out that great, in fact it was a little scary (sorry dad). It looked a little bit like cardboard! We all got a good laugh out of it and ended up ordering some really yummy pizza, from a real pizza restaurant.

It was a fun time at my dad's, complete chaos with all the kids running around...just like the holidays are supposed to be. Meilani kept asking, "When are we going to open the presents?" It made me think back and remember how special and how fun Christmas is when you are a kid. You are just soooo excited to get those presents open! I had forgotten all about that.
All the kids loved all their presents. Kekoa was more into playing with everyone else's than he was about opening his own. Kaiwei was more interested in all of Jordan's presents until he realized he had his own to open.

This little chunka munka greeted us at the door! Oh my goodness, he is soooo cute! :)

My favorite part of the whole night was watching Kaiwei frantically take off all the Elmo stickers we got for him and put them on his shirt...all in the same spot! :) It was hilarious. I'm so glad Jenny got it on video.




Tomorrow is Christmas and everyone is going to be coming over to our place. I can't wait!
