She was a dream and slept the whole way down. Kekoa was very happy to be going to his favorite place.
He was super excited to show me the hammerhead sharks in the open ocean tank.
When we got to the aquarium, the first thing I needed to do was nurse Malia. I found a cozy, dark, hidden corner right by the sea otters.

Kekoa pointing out all the different fish at the Open Ocean exhibit.
Look mama, the hammerhead.

Looking at the puffins being fed.

Malia enjoying her own animal. :)
She was so cute, checking out her duck as we ate our lunch.
Let's go to the park!
Afterwards, we wanted to go to the beach, but it was super windy. Instead we stopped at the Dennis the Menace park. We drive by this park every time we go to the aquarium and always so we are going to stop. Today we did and Kekoa was in 7th heaven.
Kekoa's dream...a black "choo choo steamy"
going...

going...
gone...

This other little boy in the picture is Kyle. Kekoa was having so much fun playing with him. They were chasing each other across this bridge. It was so cute listeing to Kekoa say, "Come on Kyle, let's go."

On our way out. Kekoa was so upset and didn't want to take a picture.
Now it was Kekoa's turn to sleep. He slept all the way to Santa Cruz, where we stopped for sushi at our favorite place, Pink Godzilla. Malia on the otherhand, just fussed, spitting her binky out and then crying because she wanted it back.
Malia's first time at Pink Godzilla.

It was definitely a long day, but so much fun.
