playing hard

If yesterday was a reading day, today was definitely a playing hard day. As soon as we woke up, Kekoa started playing with his Little People, driving the cars in and out, putting the queen on her horse, putting the animals in and out of the barn...
He was hilarious. He took all his little rubber cars, tugboat, dinosaur, and airplane out from the bathroom to use with the Little People. I played with him for awhile this morning until breakfast time. He took a much needed break and scarfed up some yogurt and grapes...then it was off to the park.
After waking up from his nap, we did have snuggle and a long story time, but then it was back to playing in his bedroom. He was playing so well by himself...wanted nothing to do with mama. Every once in awhile he would wander to find me, make sure I was still here, and then back into the room. It was actually the first time ever I asked him if he wanted to go for a run with me and he didn't! He whined and went back to playing. I told him 10 more minutes and then we would be going...he was OK with this compromise! After coming home from running, Kekoa went straight back and started playing again! I was cooking dinner and kept hearing him "vroom vrooming" in his bedroom. It was the cutest thing to peak in on him playing and using his imagination! He is sooooo cute!
I wish our place was big enough to get him a train table. He would have the best time with it.

What do you think...I need a haircut? mama and baba think so too. My hair is so crazy!

Thanks mama and baba for getting me all these cool Little People! I love them!
