My mom comes to watch Kekoa on Tuesdays, which means every other Tuesday, Scott and I get to have a date. It is so nice to be a couple for the afternoon and reconnect with each other. Today we headed over to Santa Cruz, where it was 70 something, and had Pink Godzilla sushi and hot saki. Oh yum! We took a stroll after our bellies were full, down to the cliffs to see the waves. The sun felt so good on our faces as we leaned on the rocks and watched all the surfers in the water. It was perfect out!
We ended our date with a stop at a delicious creamery in downtown..scoops of salted carmel and vanilla bean ice cream in freshly made waffle cones...oh yummy! :)
