Allergies

Oh my goodness! I have the WORST allergies right now..itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, all of it! I forget every year how bad they are, a month of being miserable. Poor Kekoa, he is worried for mama when she blows her nose or sneezes 10 times in a row. Yesterday he was even copying me, grabbed a tissue and was coughing into it. This was actually super cute.
Feeling lousy makes me not really want to take pictures or to update the blog. Today I figured I need to do some updating. I easily forget what we have been up to, my memory isn't that great anymore.
This past week we...
Thursday, Jan. 20th
-started music class again! Yay. Kekoa was so excited to see Miss Elizabeth. It was such a nice day out that we road the bike! Kekoa is over being as attached and now will leave my lap during music, which makes it even more fun. It is amazing to see how much he has learned. We both look forward to Thursday afternoons!

-after music class, our friends, Isabella and Auntie Raquel invited us over for dinner....sorry no pics:( Raquel and I are both home during dinner without our hubbies...but this night, her hubbie came home early, which was great. We had delicious stew and Kekoa had a ball playing with all of Isabella's toys. The cutest thing was Kekoa and Isabella flirting with each other across the table. Kekoa kept pointing at her and smiling. He started saying "moon" at the table too and looking out the window for it. He didn't want to leave and threw a little tantrum on our way out. Thank you so much for dinner and the glass of wine!

Friday, Jan 21st
-Scott had the day off :) We got up bright and early, ate breakfast, and headed to San Francisco to visit with Annika and Auntie Jen. We haven't seen them since Kekoa's birthday! (again, sorry, no pics) Annika is 2 years old and such a super cute, super smart, and super tall little girl. She was so great at sharing all her toys and playing with Kekoa. It was so great to see them. We are anxiously awaiting Annika's baby brother, who is due in a month! Kekoa was tuckered out from all the playing and actually fell asleep in the stroller on our walk back to the car! He hasn't done that since he was months old. He not only fell asleep in the stroller but transferred into the car and continued napping the whole way home!
-Scott went for a surf and Kekoa and I went on a bike ride. We rode all the way to the dog park, checked out all the crazy dogs playing, and then stopped at Oak Meadow park before coming home. While at the park, Kekoa mastered climbing up the steps by himself and sitting down to go down the slide...all by himself! I just wait at the bottom of the slide to scoop him up!

Saturday, Jan 22nd
-Oriana and Auntie Riquesha came to visit us today. We walked over to Oak Meadow to ride the train. Because of the beautiful weather, the line for the train was super duper long. Kekoa lost it in line and started crying, sooooo, Kekoa and I waved to Ori and Auntie as they rode by on the train! We all walked over to the playground afterwards and had a ball. Kekoa was more obsessed with picking up piles of tanbark then he was about the slide. When we came back to our place, the two kiddos played hard. Ori is very musically gifted and entertained us with "interpretive dance", it was hilarious. Again, no pictures! So bummed. It was really nice to have them come over and we hope to see them again very soon.

So, we have been keeping busy, enjoying this really warm weird warm January weather, biking and going to parks.
Hopefully my allergies will mellow out a bit, I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :)
