Sandbox
Bachman park has a sandbox and today was the first time I had Kekoa play in it. He didn't eat the sand (thank goodness). It did take him awhile to realize that he could move around and play with the other toys in the sandbox. He was having a lot of fun standing with the green castle and then squatting down to shovel and move the sand around! Doesn't he look like such a big boy? As always, he had many compliments on his cool hair style. One mom even asked me if I styled it this way!
Why are we "The Hapa's"? Hapa in Hawaiian means half. I'm a hapa girl, half Chinese. Together we are the Hapa's, half Hanson and half Parks. The "ha" is pronounced like something is funny, ha, ha, ha. The "pa" is pronounced like the "pa" in papa.
