Avocado please

I am just so amazed at how smart our little boy is. He is getting really good at pointing at things he wants. He knows the difference between his two sippy cups and when he wants milk, he points to the one with a green lid! Tonight at dinner he was pointing and screaming to the counter top. There was an assortment of things there, a watering container, tupperware, a plant, and 4 avocados. I assumed he wanted the watering container or the plant or the tupperware, definitely not avocado, but that is what he exactly wanted...and not to play with but to eat! It is the first time Kekoa has pointed to an object like that and associated with his what he eats. He gobbled it right up and made quite a mess tonight. He was really enjoying mushing the avocado in his mouth. I also gave him some homemade banana bread tonight, which made an even bigger mess!
