Oh my goodness, today was a BIG day for Kekoa. Not only did he stand all by himself, but he fell asleep in the car on our drive to a birthday party!! He wouldn't go down for his afternoon nap, so we left for the party, a little frustrated at the failure of getting Kekoa to nap. Scott and I figured we would have a super cranky baby at the birthday party.
As I was telling Scott how frustrating it is to have a baby that doesn't sleep in the car, and wondering how could this be, what baby doesn't sleep in the car, Kekoa fell asleep. Scott waited to tell me, until he was absolutely sure. I am soooo proud of him. Good thing the party was a little bit of a drive, so he got a decent nap. Scott and I were talking about how our lives would change if Kekoa could sleep in the car, we could actually go places. I'm hoping that one day soon, Kekoa sleeping in the car will be old news and not something that I would blog about or take pictures of! :) One can dream can't they?
