Momtastic

Definition of Momtastic: My term to describe when Kekoa is especially into his mama. He can't let her go, gives her lots of smooches and big hugs and/or crawls all over her.
Oh, Kekoa is such a little snuggler right now, even more than he normally is. I love it and am savoring every second of it...it could all change tomorrow! His new thing, while he's nursing, is to stop and roll onto me to rest his head on my chest. It is really quite cute. I absolutely love it when he rests his head on me, it is the sweetest thing, makes my heart melt.

Today Kekoa was being "momtastic" We went to the fountain before music class and he didn't even want to walk around. I tried putting him down and he would turn himself around, and reach his arms to me, so I could hold him (he's never done this before, ever) and then would put his head on my chest! While we were sitting on the grass, he kept crawling all over me, like I was a jungle gym. He was standing and using me as balance, but he did let go many times and was standing on his own. I know in a few days, he will be totally standing solo.

Then in music class the momtasticness kept going. Kekoa is usually ok with sitting without me, but today whenever I tried to put him down, he would do the same thing like at the fountain, turn around and want me to hold him! He would also crawl right back to me if he ventured off a little bit! My little sweetie pie!
