dinnertime

Every night is an adventure when it comes to feeding Kekoa. He hasn't been that into eating, so I never know how it is going to go. Will he be hungry, will he throw a tantrum (most definitely yes), will he spit out his food (also a definite yes!)?
He was cracking me up tonight. His foot kept appearing and he knew it was making me laugh, so he kept putting up on the highchair, just to see if I would laugh again. Of course I did and he just loved it! Kekoa is quite the goofball. He loves it when he can make his mama laugh.

Since Kekoa ate his few bites of lentils in about 15 minutes, there was still time to play after dinner. We used to be so rushed, when Kekoa took a long time to eat his dinner, to get into the bath and then bed. But tonight, Kekoa had extra time to play. He was all over the place, exploring, making noise, and having so much fun. I was chasing him while he was crawling, catch him and tickle him. He loved this. I think he wanted to go back outside though, what do you think?

Kekoa only took one nap today, for an hour. I was really worried he would be overtired at bedtime and be hard to put down. I was wrong. I put him to bed during the perfect "magic" window of time, he fell asleep in about 15 minutes!! Yay!
