A bagel and a carrot...

A wise mama told me to freeze mini-bagels for Kekoa...the perfect thing for teething. Well, yesterday I discovered that Trader Joe's sells whole wheat mini-bagels! Kekoa had his first try today, and he loved it...until he discovered that it was much more fun to throw it on the ground! I also gave him a carrot today for his teeth. He was in heaven playing with these two new food items, not much eating going on, that is for sure!

Notice the foot...Kekoa loves relaxing in his highchair. He is a very slow eater and just kicks back, takes his time, looks out the window, looks up at the ceiling, looks at the pictures on the wall.










Kekoa not only likes to throw everything on the ground, but his new thing is hiding his food. Last night at dinner, I had cut up some tofu for Kekoa to pick up and eat. I went into the kitchen to get the rest of his dinner and all the tofu was gone. I was so proud of him for eating so much. Well, what he was doing is picking it up and the very carefully putting it on the seat of his highchair. It is really quite adorable to watch. He did the same thing today with his peas!
