Our busy boy

Kekoa is a very busy little boy. I took these pictures about a week before he turned 9 months old. He was fascinated with this plastic tub of toys. They are actually bath toys, but haven't made it to the bath yet. He was really into taking all the different colored and shaped pieces out, looking at them, tasting them, and then throwing them onto the floor. It was so cute to watch. He doesn't do this anymore though so I am so glad I got these pics.

Kekoa really does love his toys so much. Now in the mornings, I plop him down in front of his Little People area (he now has the castle, construction yard, and farm), and he will entertain himself. I know we are so lucky that Kekoa will play by himself! I do like to peek around the corner to see what he is up to. He has discovered how to open and close the gate on the castle and open and close the sides. He also likes to put things inside and take them back out. It is pretty amazing to watch him learning how to play with his toys, instead of just pulling them onto himself like he used to do! This gives me a little time in the morning, to wash my face, brush my teeth, do all that morning stuff, which is really nice. Then when I'm done, I can get on the floor and play with him, which he loves just as much.
