I love 9 months!

Kekoa is such a fun age right now. Many moms of older babies agree, they all say how much they loved this age, 9 months. His little personality comes out more and more with each passing day, and it is adorable. He learns so much every second of the day and is so proud of himself at all his accomplishments! He is so sweet and loving, his smile melts my heart every time I see it. He loves to nurse and pumps his legs with excitement when he knows it is nursing time! After his bath, we rinse off with shower water, and he is fascinated with the water coming out of the shower nozzle. He tries and grabs the water. In the bath, he is having the best time with splashing and playing with his cups. He bangs them on the side of the tub and bangs them together. And when Scott or I can get Kekoa to laugh, it is music to my ears. His laugh is the best sound.
Today we had so much fun. I put Kekoa in the crib this morning and when I came in to check on him, he was standing up and so proud of himself! He even started to "cruise" in the crib. I hope he likes the crib this much when we start sleep training! After his super long morning nap, we went swimming at our friend's pool. The water was cool but felt so refreshing on this hot day. It was Kekoa's first time swimming with daddy and he loved it! He couldn't stop smiling and didn't mind the cool water one bit.
At music class today, Kekoa was so sweet. He just really enjoys being in class, listening to all of us sing and watching the other kids. His favorite part of music class is when the teacher brings out a big blue tub, filled with all kinds of instruments and things that make noise. Now that he can crawl, he is right there, waiting for her to dump out the goodies from the tub.
During dinner, Kekoa was cracking me up. He was so happy and hungry! It took him over an hour to finish eating, he just kept wanting more and more food. He didn't even swat away the spoon with baby food!
I don't know what made today so much different than other days, but I had the best time with Kekoa. I don't even feel completely wiped out right now! :)

I took these photos last week during music class. Kekoa is fascinated by this big drum. This was the first music class that Kekoa crawled all over the room instead of just sitting in my lap the whole time.
We are so lucky to be taking the class with Ava!

Cruising in my crib!!

Hi mama!Ooops, I fell over! Good thing my fat yellow chick cushioned the blow!
I peeked around the corner from the kitchen today and was smiling from ear to ear. Kekoa had his Where's Spot book, in his hands and feet, and was flipping through. He was even lifting up the flaps in the book and not ripping them! So cute!
Lifting the flaps, is Spot under that pink piano? No, but a blue hippo is!

Silly faces in my high chair at lunch time!

Fake crying...

So happy playing with my little piggies in my highchair!

Kekoa pulled himself up to the coffee table today for the first time, all by himself! He looked too adorable with his little chin resting at the top of the table!
I want that turtle!!
