Yesterday was our last day of music...well, we have a 2 week break before summer session starts. I am so happy I signed Kekoa up for music. It has been a wonderful thing for our whole family. It has brought many different songs into our home that are fun to sing and dance to. The music class has really opened my eyes on way to incorporate music into all parts of our day. The best thing is to watch Scott dancing and singing with Kekoa too.
Kekoa really loves music, his whole face lights up when he hears the CD from music class. It is a great program and he is super engaged during class. He also loves his teacher Miss Elizabeth. Kekoa has gone from a sitting baby to a baby that can crawl all over the music room. He claps along and bounces to the rhythm of the songs. He gets super excited when Miss Elizabeth pulls out the "train", a big blue tub full of musical instruments. At the last class, he was practically jumping out of my lap to get to the train before she dumped it out. His favorite thing to play with is a little flat drum, one side is clear with a fish print and little beads inside. He shakes it and just stares at the fish.
We can't wait for music class to start again!
