Kekoa opened the rest of his birthday party gifts this evening. He loves them all and the last present was from Annika, a superhero outfit. Let's just say that he couldn't wait to put it on. It took me forever to cut all the little plastic doodads that were holding the costume in place, I swear they make all these toys parent proof. Super Kekoa waited anxiously for the pieces of the costume, putting them on one at a time. He then started "flying" all around the house. He was so pumped up, excited to be up so late and spending time alone with us. I took him for a walk down the street and we fought bad guys and shot off fireworks.
It took Super Kekoa a long time this evening to wind down and be ready for bed. He kept saying how he is usually in bed by now...he couldn't believe how dark everything was. I can't believe my little man will be 4 tomorrow! Where did the time go?
