What did Kekoa want to do on his birthday this morning? He wanted to pick up lunch at Whole Foods and go to Belgatos park. The babysitter came this morning and I was able to take the birthday boy and spend some special time with him.
It was a really great morning, just me and Kekoa. It has been awhile since the two of us have hung out like that. He picked out sushi, California rolls and a green smoothie drink. We had our picnic lunch at Belgatos and then headed for the trail. We ended up spending most of the time playing in the creek, climbing around on the tree roots. It was really fun, not something we could have done if Malia had been with us.
I loved having all morning with my little man. It was a very special birthday morning for both of us....and boy did we have a great time.
