Scott took Kekoa to the horse track today and I got to spend the afternoon with my little girlie. I took her to the fountain downtown, it was a pretty hot day. She just loved it. I couldn't get any pictures of her actually in the fountain...didn't want my camera getting wet. She kept going into the water, then waddling to where I was, then waddling back into the water, she did this circle from the water to me and back to the water for over a half hour. It was a real pleasure to just watch her having fun, she is so independent in a lot of ways compared to Kekoa.
She let me know when she was done and we walked back to the our blanket in the grass. I think the highlight of her afternoon was seeing all the dogs. She just loves animals so much and tries to talk to them. My favorite part of the afternoon was having Malia contently sitting in my lap as we both people watched. She was being so snuggly after playing in the fountain and using up all her energy. It was a really sweet moment.
We did a little shopping at Gymboree afterwards, she is NOT a shopper. I even had her in front of the little T.V. in the store and she was not having it. The only thing that was making her happy was having apple slices.
We headed home and she took a late afternoon nap. Thanks for a great day little girlie.
My friend Sara asked me the other day if I just want to take pictures of Malia all the time...the answer to that question is absolutely, yes...all the time.
I want out of the stroller please...
Mmmm, this apple is delicious.
