The moon
Our little baby is loving the moon. When we flew in from Hawaii, he was in complete awe of seeing it in the night sky. Kekoa is in bed before it gets dark, so he was completely blown away at all the lights and the moon of course. He has always loved the moon, but is now pointing it out in his books and finds it in the sky during the day too. It is really cool since both Scott and I also love the moon. There is a picture of the moon in the book, "The Hungry Caterpillar" and Kekoa just couldn't stop staring at it today. He was carrying the book around with him, open to that page. Kekoa would point to it whenever I asked him where the moon was. Of course when I tried to video tape him doing this, he would stop!
Why are we "The Hapa's"? Hapa in Hawaiian means half. I'm a hapa girl, half Chinese. Together we are the Hapa's, half Hanson and half Parks. The "ha" is pronounced like something is funny, ha, ha, ha. The "pa" is pronounced like the "pa" in papa.
