Forget the ocean, today Kekoa was all about the sand! He was having the best time, digging in it, throwing it, crawling in it, scooting in it, trying to walk on it. I couldn't stop laughing from all his oohs and aahs. We took over a spot on the beach where a little boy had dug a sand hole. Kekoa didn't quite know what to do with all the sand that covered his hands, so of course he put his hands in his mouth. What a gritty treat for him!
We brought him back in the ocean to rinse off the sand and he was just so upset to be away from the sand! We still had fun playing in the warm water. Scott took us to Haleiwa beach park again, but on the non windy side. It was so calm and beautiful...just the way I pictured the ocean to be for Kekoa to play in. What a SUPER great afternoon! :)
