We found some place new to go to. Thanks to Sara, Cole, and Ryan, we actually got out of the house this afternoon and went someplace fun. I really can't believe we have never been to the Nature Center, especially since we used to live so close to it. There were live animals there and stuffed ones too. Kekoa was so excited to see all the animals. His love for life and all things new is just awesome.
I didn't get any pictures of the boys together, but they are really "all boy" when they play. They always have sticks and are running around. The sticks aren't always a good thing though. Kekoa hit Cole's hand and then proceeded to have a major meltdown as we were leaving. Lesson I keep learning is that you can't reason with a 3 year old, let alone a 3 year old that is hungry and tired. Kekoa finally apologized to Cole, after eating dinner. We called Cole so he could say he was sorry. He was very concerned about hurting Cole's feelings. I was worried that he just didn't care. It was one of those really tough parenting moments, Scott and I want to raise good kids. The babies were both great, Malia and Ryan are both getting so big and have really come alive. Ryan has such a great smile and giggle and he melts my heart with his blue eyes.
I have digressed...back to the fun part of the afternoon...This little house was a huge hit. Kekoa played in it for a good half hour before we even went into the Nature Center. He was making me all kinds of yummy food; quesadillas, smoothies, veggie stir fry. But when I asked him for a salad, he told me he was out of the stuff to make it. :)
All the food he made had to be put in a box. I couldn't figure out why until I realized all the flattened boxes behind the house!
Fixing up the house.
May I take your order please?
Here's your stir-fry mommy.
