playdate with my boy

Kekoa and I had a little playdate this morning. We headed to Oak Meadow to ride the train. I parked on Roberts Road bridge and we walked on the creek trail to get to the park. We both enjoyed the walk on the trail, especially going under the bridge.

Kekoa was so excited to ride "choo choo steamy" after seeing it yesterday (we had a photo shoot but didn't get to ride the train). Afterwards, we headed to the playground and Kekoa was the train engineer. He was the big guy today at the playground, I had to keep reminding him to give the little kids a chance to drive the train. I remember when it was Kekoa who was waiting patiently for the bigger kids to move over so he could have a turn to drive.

Farmer's market was our final stop before heading for home. Kekoa saw the shave ice place and requested some. It did taste pretty good but nothing compares to Hawaii shave ice!

Whenever I can spend time with either Kekoa or Malia alone, it is very special and truly cherish it.

Kekoa wanted me to take a picture of him with the fork lift in the back ground. It is lifting a picnic bench, which he thought was the coolest thing and he wanted to show his baba.

Kekoa was really excited to pick out his little chair to sit in. I think he may have been more excited about the chair than he was about the shave ice.
