Kekoa and I went on a bike ride today. It has been such a LONG time since we have cruised around on the bike. We were both really excited about exploring. We discovered a new trail for us, Los Alamitos trail, it was beautiful and just really refreshing to be someplace new. The trail runs along Alamden Lake and then keeps going. We saw all kinds of different birds, even brown pelicans. We can't wait to bring Baba and Malia and show them what we discovered.
On the way back home, I heard Kekoa talking to his little toy leggo polar bear. He asked it, "Do you like it (the bike ride)?" Then in his baby voice, the polar bear answered back "Yea, I like it." Kekoa then tells me, "Mommy, polar bear likes the bike ride". Such a cutie pie!
