Aulani hotel

We all ventured out this morning together as a family. We are slowly adjusting to being here (I know, really tough to be in Hawaii!) and getting into a routine. We went for a walk down the street to first check out the Aulani hotel and then to the beach for a snack. The Aulani hotel is amazing, really amazing inside and out. We went to see a reef aquarium they have that you can actually snorkle in (if you are a guest). Kekoa was mezmorized by the fish and coral. I can't wait to take him snorkling, when he is old enough. He's going to love it.
Since the Aulani is a Disney hotel, we saw Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy walking around for the character breakfast the hotel offers. First thing Kekoa said, "Is Goofy a dog?" ( I'm not sure, is he? )
Kekoa was really cute and kept asking me where Mickey Mouse was as we walked around the hotel. We may indulge and go to the character breakfast so he can get up close and personal.





After winding our way around the hotel, we headed to one of the gorgeous lagoons here. There are 4 lagoons, perfect for kids to swim, so safe. We sat to have a snack and people watch. We'll have to go back later to go swimming. Kekoa needed to head back for a nap...he is still sleeping right now and it has almost been 3 hours!!
What was Malia doing? She was chilling and took a little nap...such a great baby.

Wearing his favorite shirt right now, Bob the Builder. He dreams about this shirt, will ask me first thing in the morning if it has been washed and if he can wear it. I won't be surprised if he is wearing it in every picture on our trip.

"I tired of walking baba"...Kekoa gets a ride part of the way home. :)
