Kekoa was just as excited to go. We were actually hoping he wasn't going to want to ride the train, but boy were we wrong.
All he talked about in the car on the way over was riding Thomas and then once we got there, it was said with more urgency.
So, we made the 10:30 train, all 4 of us. Malia slept the whole time in the carrier as we cruised the majestic redwood forest.
This is a much shorter train ride then the one we went on when Grandma and Grandpa were here. Kekoa's excitement made it all worth it.
Afterwards, Kekoa was all about the jumpy house, that was all he wanted to do. He jumped to his heart content after he had some lunch. Malia was so cozy and slept the whole time. I actually had to wake Malia up to nurse her before we left.
We ended the afternoon perfectly...heading to Santa Cruz for some ice cream at the Penny Creamery. Yummy, I had the best strawberry ice cream ever, which Kekoa shared with me, of course. He absolutely loves their homemade waffle cones.
Another long day, but so much fun to all be together as a family.

Such a loud steam whistle!

High 5 to Sir Topham Hat.
So many trains, so little time.
The little boy you see next to Kekoa....his name is also Kekoa!
