preschool madness

I went through preschool madness last year and here we are again.
After enrolling Kekoa in preschool last year, I decided last minute to pull him out. I am VERY happy with that decision, but this year he will definitely be ready to go in the fall. It feels like there is so much pressure to pick the right school.
We went this morning to observe a school that we visited this past Saturday. Kekoa liked the school on Saturday and today he loved it. He was able to go and explore and play. The outdoor area is gigantic with a garden area, play structure, sandbox, all kinds of tricycles and cars to ride...it is a dream. He didn't want to leave, which is a great sign and felt totally comfortable there. He didn't need me right by his side, which is an awesome sign. Not only does Kekoa love the school, but it is only a couple miles away, which is very convenient.
It is a parent co-op, which means either Scott or I would be required to go with him, but only one day a week. It is a 2 day program so the other day he would be on his own. I asked him if he would like to go to the school without mama there and he said yes. My little monkey is growing up!
