let's take baby sister to the park
Kekoa couldn't wait to show his "mei mei" (baby sister) the park this morning. Before we left though, she had to be changed into her clothes and then she decided to be a nunie boonie (what I call Kekoa when he's naked) then finally she wanted to put on her pj's. I can't get over how cute Kekoa is with his mei mei, too cute for words really. We had a lot of fun at the park and then walked home through the most tranquil oak tree grove. We saw a ton of squirrels, two Cooper hawks circling right above us and a deer. I really can't believe we live near such beauty....we are so lucky.
Why are we "The Hapa's"? Hapa in Hawaiian means half. I'm a hapa girl, half Chinese. Together we are the Hapa's, half Hanson and half Parks. The "ha" is pronounced like something is funny, ha, ha, ha. The "pa" is pronounced like the "pa" in papa.
