eating like a big boy

Kekoa started last week at the zoo, eating his sandwich like a big boy, not cut up into pieces. We are very proud of him. Today at lunch he wanted to eat his sandwich like a big boy again. It is so cute, watching him pick up the half of sandwich and proudly taking bites. I am SO happy he is finally wanting to feed himself. It makes life just a little bit easier when i don't have to feed Kekoa and try to feed myself at the same time.
Scott and I were wondering when this all happened? It is like one day, poof, overnight and Kekoa now feeds himself!
