Moving!!

Tomorrow is a HUGE day for us, it is moving day. After 5 in a half years in our 2 bedroom apartment, it is bittersweet to be moving. We found a rental house, about 5 miles down the road...3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a garage, washer/dryer, yard, much bigger kitchen...we have found space. We live around the corner from an awesome library and can walk to a farmer's market on the weekend. We are so relieved to have found more space before baby girl is born. We would have been SO crammed in our place, I didn't even know where I was going to put her diapers.
So, right now, our apartment is in complete disarray. Kekoa is totally freaked out, doesn't like that his toys are going into boxes at all. He keeps telling Scott to stop. "No baba, no take it." For this reason, we obviously pack when he is asleep, but he seems to know what I have packed away and will ask for that specific toy. Just this morning, he was asking for his crocodile, a bath toy, that I had packed last night. Luckily, I knew exactly where it was and the box wasn't taped up. Whew, disaster was avoided. When he saw Scott taking his little table and chairs yesterday, he had a meltdown, crying, telling me he wanted to sit in his chair and use the table. Poor guy.

Scott has already taken many car loads of stuff over and we still have so much more to go! Tomorrow we are getting a U-Haul and moving helpers...my dad, brother, and a friend of ours. My job will be taking care of our little monkey. Thank goodness he has school tomorrow, that will keep us occupied for most of the morning.

We will definitely miss living in this area. We are in such an awesome location, which is why it has been so hard to move. We will miss walking to downtown, which we do almost daily, or to the numerous parks close by. I know this summer, we will miss walking to the park and riding the train daily. We love our downstairs neighbor, Uncle Dom's and I know Kekoa will miss seeing him all the time. This has just been a really nice to place to live...where Scott and I started our lives together. Now we enter the next chapter!

Kekoa can't wait to help me plant some flowers in the front yard.

Hmm, do you like the house Kekoa?

LOVE it!
