Thursdays

I love Thursdays. Why? Because Thursdays Kekoa and I get to go to music class. We usually hop on the bike and ride over to the recreation center. It is really fun to ride and I get to sing Kekoa the songs on our way there. I'm waiting for the day that he sings along with me! The past two Thursdays have been the best music classes. It is the neatest thing to watch Kekoa and how he grows and changes with each week. This Thursday, just like last week, Kekoa would run into my arms with a huge cheezy smile on his face, a smile that melts my heart each time. His phase of wanting to just roam the room has passed, at least for now. He is again enjoying sitting in my lap during songs. Today we even danced and he held my hand as we walked around in a circle. He looked so cute waddling next to me.

Kekoa loves music class and loves his music teacher. During one of the songs today he got up from my lap and ran into her arms! Everyone in the class just melted too. It was the sweetest thing. When we first walked in the room, Kekoa was being a little bit shy, very unlike him. He wanted me to carry him over to the drum. Once I started beating on it, he forgot about being shy! When the music instruments came out, Kekoa was doing such an amazing job sharing. He would bring the other mommies, that didn't have instruments, the instruments he was holding. It was so adorable.

We already can't wait until next Thursdays class!
