Kekoa is completely blowing me away right now. He is such a little smartie pants! I need to start writing down all the things he is doing because I'm already forgetting some of it. It just amazes me how much he understands. I speak to him in Chinese as much as I can and he really understands me! He is pointing to objects like dogs, cats, and balls in his books. When he sees dogs, in pictures or at the park, he says "ruff, ruff".
Today he was sitting in my lap and we were reading a Clifford book. I asked him if he wanted to go to the park. He threw the book down, waddled over to the door, and grabbed his shoes!
We walked to the park today. When we were almost there, I turned us around to check out an open house. Kekoa knew we were walking away from the park and started to point and fuss! He must have inherited his parents' sense of direction! :)
At the park, we were playing in the sandbox. He wanted to take one of the trucks and push it around the park. I explained to him that if he wanted to get out of the sandbox, he needed to sit down so I could put on his shoes. He immediately sat down and grabbed his shoes!
In the bathtub the other day, he was looking at one of his bath books that has flowers in it. When he saw the flowers, he brought the book up to his face and sniffed!
Tonight in the tub, I asked him if he was done. He climbed into my arms, nuzzled into my shoulder and waved bye to his bath toys!
Kekoa is so amazing. I love him so much that my heart wants to burst out of my chest. He is such a special little boy.
