Children's Discovery Museum to the rescue

We are having very warm weather here in California. I'm not complaining, the sunshine is nice, but is is a little warm to be outside running around. Thank goodness we have a membership to the Children's Discovery Museum. What a great place to spend our afternoon running around and I literally mean running. Kekoa is a pro walker now and all over the place. It is so fun to see him exploring and having such a great time. He has such an elephant memory, he really remembers where things are. He went right for the stuffed deer that he liked the last time we were there and he remembered the "crawlers" room. He stood in front of the door and banged to go inside. When I let him in, he went straight for this faux aquarium they have. He has loved it since the first time he saw it, when he was just a little baby crawling around! Amazing.

After the museum we went for a walk along the Guadalupe Creek trail. It is really cool how the city of San Jose is so urban but then has this beautiful path along the creek. There is even all kinds of places along the creek that have access to the water. Kekoa of course wanted to get in the water! It was so fun trotting along side him, picking up leaves and playing in the grass.

All the running around really tired Kekoa out. He ate a big dinner, we went to say good night to the moon, and then he passed out so easily tonight! Sweet dreams little monkey!

Oh, look at the cars...

Doesn't Kekoa look like a big boy?

Kekoa wanted to play with this truck so badly. He was also loving the animals too.
