Hard to believe that 2 weeks ago we were at the beach and it was so cold. Today was just perfect, warm with a little breeze...it doesn't get much better than this at the beach. We went to Natural Bridges today to first go tide pooling. Kekoa just loved this. He thought it was the coolest thing ever to find hermit crabs, snails, and touch the sticky sea anemone. Tonight when I was putting him to sleep he told me he liked finding all the creatures ( which he says in the most adorable way)
We met up with Caren and Rose there. Kekoa and Rose hadn't seen each other in a super long time, but just started playing in the sand like old friends. It was really cute.
Malia also had a lot of fun, chilling in the beach tent, making Baba a little crazy :)

After a long afternoon at the beach, we ventured to downtown for some ice cream. Malia fell right asleep in the car, but it was our lucky parking day because we found a spot right in front of the Penny Creamery. She was able to keep sleeping while we sat in front, enjoying our scoops. Thanks to her very loud Ge Ge, Malia woke up, which actually worked out in our favor. This meant we could head to Pink Godzilla for sushi! Yay! Malia amazed her Baba with her self feeding skills and Kekoa amazed both of us with how much he ate. He even ate 2 pieces of sushi!!
It was such a perfect beach day, and hey, not too bad for being February 15th!!
