Kekoa and I had
a really great morning together. Bright and sunny weather means we both need to get outside and get
some fresh air. He hopped right in
the stroller to go on a walk. We
headed onto the trail that runs along these perculation ponds. There were so many geese out, honking
and landing gracefully on the water.
Once we reached the end of the trail, Kekoa wanted to get out and run. He was really running, we were jogging
together. He is such a great
runner and really loves it.
We stopped at a
spot where we could get close to the water. The mission was to find as many rocks and sticks as we could
to throw in the water. Kekoa loved
this, we stayed for a long time, throwing rocks and sticks. I was watching him, a big smile on my
face…what a big boy he is now.
When we returned
home, Scott and Malia were waiting for us, with big smiles on their faces. I was telling Scott what a great runner
Kekoa is and he commented, “Kekoa is just like you, he needs to be outside and
running”, as Kekoa was running more laps in the house!
