balance

All the moms I have spoken with, that have 2 or more kids, tell me the hardest thing is finding a balance. You feel so torn, wanting to spend equal time with your kiddos, feeling so guilty that you just never have enough time.
I have been trying to find that balance, wanting to include Kekoa in as many things as I can so he doesn't feel left out. I do know that nursing Malia in the rocking chair during the day, when Kekoa is awake isn't going to work. He does great when I ask him if he wants to come sit on the sofa with us, then he can snuggle up with mama too.
This morning, Kekoa helped me read baby Malia a story. It was very sweet, a very sweet way to spend my morning with both my kiddos (wow...I have 2 kids now!!)
