Bachman Park
We haven't been to Bachman Park since we moved. When he woke up from his nap, Kekoa told me he wanted to go to the park with the sandbox. I miss this park, it is the best when it is hot, so nice and shady. Kekoa grew up in this park, so it was amazing to see him playing there now. He can climb up all the equipment himself and looks so huge in the swing. I remember when he couldn't even stand in the sandbox by himself and now he has the best imagination and plays with all the toys. My little boy is getting so big.
One of Kekoa's new tricks is going head first down slides.
Why are we "The Hapa's"? Hapa in Hawaiian means half. I'm a hapa girl, half Chinese. Together we are the Hapa's, half Hanson and half Parks. The "ha" is pronounced like something is funny, ha, ha, ha. The "pa" is pronounced like the "pa" in papa.
