monterey bay aquarium jellies

Scott had the day off today and Kekoa has been having a the aquarium itch. I was so excited to go today to check out the new jellyfish exhibit. Kekoa loved the new jelly exhibit too. He was fascinated by all the different colors and how fast they were moving around. It was pretty amazing, one tank had the little tiny jelly babies in it, they were so cute.

I think all of our favorite place at the aquarium is the huge open ocean tank. We love to sit right on the edge and just watch the fish cruising by...the school of gigantic tuna, the two fascinating hammerhead sharks, the cruising green sea turtle, and my fav, the sunfish, that just bobs and floats.

On our way home, Kekoa slept for a bit in the car, which was perfect. He woke up by the time we arrived in Santa Cruz, just in time to check out some waves on East Cliff drive and to have a delicious sushi dinner at Pink Godzilla. A perfect way to end the day! :)

I am hoping we can make at least one more trip here before we have our baby girl.

Kekoa even got to enjoy his first piece of salt water taffy. He loved it.
