I heart ketchup
Kekoa LOVES ketchup, a.k.a., dippy sauce. He'll pretty much eat whatever if he can dip it. I made "fish sticks" for dinner (pan fried tilapia with bread crumbs). He first told me, "mama, I want the crispy fish sticks", which totally blew me away. I didn't know the word "crispy" was in his vocabulary! Crispy fish sticks are the frozen ones we get from Trader Joe's. I know he loves mama's fish sticks too, he just had to dip them. It was all good. He ate so many baby carrots and fish, all dipped in ketchup. Good thing I have found organic ketchup at Trader Joe's...a little bit healthier. ;)
Why are we "The Hapa's"? Hapa in Hawaiian means half. I'm a hapa girl, half Chinese. Together we are the Hapa's, half Hanson and half Parks. The "ha" is pronounced like something is funny, ha, ha, ha. The "pa" is pronounced like the "pa" in papa.
