Meilani's 12!

Our niece is 12 years old, well she will be in a few days, March 27th. We had Auntie Joleen, Meilani and Jordan over for dinner tonight and surprised Meilani with a little birthday celebration. When we told Kekoa his cousins were coming over, his whole face lit up...he couldn't stop smiling.
I can't believe she is going to be 12. I remember when she came into this world. I was lucky enough to be with Joleen the entire day that she was in labor. We were actually walking around Stanford shopping center while Joleen had contractions!
I am so proud of Meilani. She is such a confident, smart, talented, beautiful young lady (is that what you call a 12 year old?) She kicks butt in gymnastics, completely blows me away what she can do. She wants to become a veterinarian when she grows up and I am sure she will. She can do anything she sets her mind to. She is the best cousin to Kekoa and can't wait for her new little cousin to be born. Tonight Meilani got to feel little zamboni have the hiccups!

Kekoa was a artist today. He couldn't get enough coloring in. He made Meilani a super awesome card and even told her what it said, "love you Meilani". He had even more fun coloring with his cousins.
