night train

Scott had the day off today, so we took the opportunity to ride the night train. It was so nice having Scott come this year. Last year I went solo and it made for a long night of waiting in line for tickets and then waiting in line for the train. This year we could split the duties, which meant we made it on the first train of the night...what a difference it makes to not have to wait in line!
Kekoa was in complete awe of the train and the lights. He loved the "light tunnels" and how the bridge was all lit up. We even got him to wear his puffy jacket.
I'm not sure if he was more excited for the train or the merry-go-round this year. He couldn't wait to get a ride on the horse. All he could talk about the whole rest of the night was the lights and riding the horse.
The holidays are definitely so much more fun now that we have Kekoa.
