A new routine

So, after too many sleepless nights, Kekoa is no longer going to get to nurse in the bed. I was dreading this because last time I tried to not nurse him right before bed, it didn't go over too well. He just wasn't ready. I kept telling him all day long that we weren't going to nurse in the bed anymore, he would say, "mmm, hmmm". Before his bath, he nursed out on the sofa and I reminded him again that he wasn't going to "nai nai" on the bed anymore. Right before bed he wanted to "nai nai" again, so we went out to the sofa. After about a minute, he said "all done" and waddled into the bedroom. We snuggled up, read a couple of books, and then lights out. There were no tears, no screaming, no hitting, no pulling up my shirt. I couldn't believe it, he was ready. We shall see how this evening goes. Keep your fingers crossed!
