Kekoa's first Easter egg hunt

Today, the gang came over (Kaiwei, Papa Beezy, Auntie Jenny, and baby Jiawei) and we all walked over to the high school for the annual Easter egg hunt. This was Kekoa's first Easter egg hunt and he didn't know quite what to make of it. What a crazy and jam packed event. I couldn't believe how many kids and families were there. The boys did so well, waited so patiently to start collecting eggs. We even ran into a bunch of Kekoa's friends there, which was a really nice surprise. (We couldn't get Gavin and Kekoa to sit together for a picture...way too much excitement!)

Next year we will have to get some tickets and get in line early for the boys to ride the little ponies. They were super excited to see them, but couldn't understand why they weren't getting a chance to ride them!






So many kids hunting for Easter eggs...
The highlight for the boys though was playing behind these bushes. They were so adorable to watch. Kekoa was following Kaiwei, cracking up. They would stop, find some rocks, dig some holes, then chase each other again. Kekoa couldn't stop talking about "Ka Ka" all day long. He was so confused because when he woke up from his nap, they had left to go home.
