We headed out this morning on the "peacock trail". I am so proud of both the kids. They are such great hikers. Malia actually didn't want to be carried, but there were times we had to pick her up or it would have taken us 10 years to finish the hike. Kekoa can do this whole loop now, it is awesome....he charges up the hill.
Scott kept saying "this is torture" as we were walking at Malia's snail pace. We had to remind ourselves that we are putting in the time now so she will hopefully like hiking when she is older too. Of course it is not really torture all the time, it is a good reminder to slow down and see the world through our baby girl's eyes.
