I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have Scott home in the afternoons. After so many years of being on my own in the evenings, having my best friend home is such a blessing. The kids absolutely love having their Baba come home from work...their whole face lights up. Kekoa is constantly looking out the window, whenever he hears a car he is convinced it is his Baba.
When he gets home, we head outside. With the days getting so short, we can no longer go for our after dinner walks/scoots. Now we head out the door before hand. Kekoa loves scooting on his balance bike and the last couple of days Scott has been scooting on the scooter. The two of them race...Kekoa is very competitive...hmmm, who does he get that from?? It is so cute to watch them, Malia and I love it. She sits in her red car, pointing out all the pumpkins (pumpy) and getting upset when she notices a house without its decorations up.
We are so lucky here in California, the weather has been really warm in the afternoons and that sun does feel so good.
